Pet Remedy Calming Spray
Pet Remedy Calming Spray

Essential Calming Spray from Pet Remedy works alongside the brain’s natural messengers known as neuro-transmitters, which will tell the nerve receiving the message either to calm down or get “fired up”. In times of anxiety or stress in our pets the nerves tend to get over stimulated, which will lead to many symptoms of stress. The Essential Calming Spray has blends of essential oils which work alongside the natural relaxation pathways to help calm the nerves of anxious and stressed pets. The spray features a easy to use trigger, generous 200ml bottle, starts to help immediately, helps calm pet with sedating, water based, PH neutral formulation so safe on skin and coat of pet and is developed and made in England.

  • Ideal for pets including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, rodents and birds.
  • Can be used in conjunction with plug-in diffuser
  • Works for all pets in household.
  • Clinically proven

Many vets, nurses, and groomers tell us they spray their tunics and hands when handling an anxious customer!!! This can really help!

For instance, with a feral cat, simply spray a little on a towel and cover over cat basket for 10 minutes before handling!!!

Also when handling birds or small mammals, it is helpful to spray a little on a towel  as well as your tunic and hands) before towel handling the pet!

Use sparingly

  • Do not spray near pets mouth, nose and eyes.
  • Spray directly onto a bandana, bedding, carpet, soft furnishing, in car, stable or horsebox.
  • When walking a difficult dog simply spray on your trouser leg and bring to a heel when you anticipate a problem.
  • You can even spray on your tunic if handing an anxious pet.

Signs of stress include:

  • Changes in behaviour
  • Spraying/soiling indoors
  • Excessive, habitual over grooming resulting in hair loss
  • Lack of interaction with owner
  • Loss of appetite
  • Scratching at furniture
  • Unexplained aggression

Stress can be triggered by:

  • A new pet arriving in the home
  • Moving house
  • Changes in the home, such as building work or a new baby
  • Excessive noise or movement
  • Fireworks
  • Travel / Visit to Vets
  • Changes in daily routine

PET REMEDY for Fairly Beloved Rabbit Care
“Originally I was sceptical about how effective Pet Remedy would be, but it only took one use for me to be fully converted. In the rescue we regularly get rabbits that aren’t used to being handled and often territorial too. On one particularly feisty rabbit we tried the Pet Remedy calming spray for the first time, and she practically melted on to the table. She was so relaxed and we were able to trim her claws without any fuss or stress for the bunny or the volunteers! We now use Pet Remedy regularly when handling the rabbits in the rescue, and use it to relax the rabbits when bonding them into new pairs in our Bonding Bootcamp too. It really has made such a difference!”

I own and run Crumpets Small Animal Boarding in London which boards rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, chinchillas, degus, hamsters, gerbils, budgies and pygmy hedgehogs. Our main aim is to reduce stress as much as possible and offer a stimulating and fun environment. Since I discovered Pet Remedy (@2yrs ago) I have noticed that guests settle in quicker, have a more enjoyable stay and we have had less cases of stress related conditions such as gut stasis and pasturella flares. I have found their customer service invaluable and can recommend without reservation Pet Remedy, not only is it great to use in a different environment but many of my clients now use it in spray form on their pets carriers to help reduce stress levels when travelling.

I thought I would email you to let you know how absolutely thrilled I am with your product Pet Remedy.
I had five cats all a happy family who got on well apart from one Martha. She was a Cat Protection hand rear and we think is part Siamese. She’s a very highly strung cat at the best of times. Anyway I volunteer for Coventry Cat Protection. Recently I have taken on another CP rescue who was abandoned on a main 3 lane A road with his siblings by some cruel person. Well day one was ok but the next day Martha was so so upset in fact for five days I’ve hardly seen her come out from behind the sofa. We knew she would be a problem but not as bad as she was. By Friday of last week she was actually making herself physically sick every time the kitten came near her it was upsetting to see her so stressed.
I spoke to a friend who is a vet nurse and she recommended Pet Remedy, I will admit I was sceptical as I have in the past tried Feliway to no effect, but the problem was so acute by Saturday Morning I would have tried anything. I purchased two diffusers one for behind the sofa and one by her bed in my laundry room where she goes at night. I also purchased the spray for on her bed and around her on the carpet, and I put a little bit under her chin. Well within 24 hours the difference was outstanding and by today which is 48 hrs later I’ve got my Martha back. She’s even been out today which I daren’t let her do while she was so upset. The kitten actually was nose to nose with her earlier, she gave him a little swipe but no hissing and he retreated which is obviously what needs to happen so she can feel she’s in charge and he knows where he is in the pecking order. This was never going to happen with her behind the sofa.
To say I’m thrilled is an understatement and I will certainly highly recommend your product to anyone who has problems with their animals. I volunteer as a home checker and on the telephone helpline for CP and often get asked about introducing new cats.
I only wish I had known about it when I tried to bond my rabbits it may have saved a lot of trouble!
I am the first to admit even as I was in the shop buying it I thought this is a waste of time she’s such a stressy cat at the best of times but wow wow wow is all I can say.
I shall always keep a couple of diffusers in the house plugged in now as I think it will help her in normal life anyway
    Thank you
